Cinzia Tedesco is an artist and vocalist from Italy. She bridges the barriers between musical genres. A computer science graduate from the University of Bari, she studied classical guitar, singing various styles until she turned to jazz. RAI describes her as “a new talent of Italian jazz”. Her talent is truly fascinating, manifesting itself in her musical performance without prejudice as to style or genre. While studying classical guitar she played blues, soul and Latin music in clubs in Puglia. The experience she gained gave her strength and made her a master on stage. After graduating, she moved to Rome where she encountered jazz, a music that allowed her to unleash her creative and interpretive energy. Cinzia Tedesco created a jazz project dedicated to Maestro Giuseppe Verdi. The album Verdi’s Mood by Cinzia Tedesco is released by SONY Music. The same company is also releasing one of her more recent albums, Mister Puccini In Jazz, with some of the most famous arias for tenor and soprano from the works of maestro Giacomo Puccini, for an exciting union between Opera and Jazz.
