Arcus Trio & A-C Leonte is a project where contemporary jazz meets electronic textures, vocal effects and the freedom of improvisation. Led by saxophonist, flautist and kaval player Alexandru Arcus, the ensemble creates a sound that moves through different musical spaces — from acoustic jazz and ethnic influences to modern electronic layers and experimental forms.
The line-up features A-C Leonte on vocals, effects and looping, Alex Arcus on tenor saxophone, flute, kaval and effects, Iulian Nicolau on drums, and Michael Acker on bass. This instrumental setting creates a rich sonic landscape in which the voice becomes a fully expressive instrument, the saxophone and kaval bring melody and colour, and the rhythm section provides a solid yet flexible foundation.
The concert by Arcus Trio & A-C Leonte is a meeting point between tradition and the present, between organic instrumental sound and a technologically expanded musical environment. It is music with atmosphere, movement and inner dramaturgy — alive, open and created in real time before the audience.
