Born in Trinidad, Cuba, Alain Pérez began his musical journey at an early age. Over the years, he has worked alongside some of the most celebrated names in international music, including Chucho Valdés and the legendary Irakere, Isaac Delgado, Celia Cruz, Paco de Lucía, Omara Portuondo, Chick Corea and Paquito D’Rivera. As a musical director, arranger and producer, he has left a distinctive mark on numerous landmark Latin music projects.
